A colorful eggplant used as an ornamental, but with edible uses as well. Medium sized fruits look like mini pumpkins in shape and ripen from yellow to orange and red. The 3" fruits are the "miniature pumpkins" popular with florists and for fall decorations. The fruits, while bitter, are used extensively in Asian cuisine.
